Hola, hola, I hate to say this, but long time no see! Yep, it has been definitely a while since I have written my previous blog post (please don’t check the date in the previous post), but now I have decided to push myself harder to get better in this. It’s about time.
I feel I should explain myself and say why it has been so silent here, but honestly, there are too many excuses, like our wedding, writer’s block, lack of time… So let’s just totally skip that part because you would get extremely bored.
So I want to open this new season of better blogging by telling you a little how we are doing. Some of you know that we got married in September and, oh! it was an amazing day! We are still waiting to get the photos, so when we get them I’ll write you a bit more about our day.
What I can and want to say now is that organizing a wedding is crazy much work. I totally knew planning a wedding would keep us busy, but I had no idea how busy. The last weeks were wild (emails, phone calls, finishing all the DIY decor — oh yes, and we started the planning 2 years beforehand!) During the last weeks, all I could think was that “why in the earth we are not doing the elopement thing!?”
Álex was really the one who stayed calm and who kept saying that it’s all going to be good and we will be happy afterward thinking the day. And he was more than right, just thinking walking down the aisle makes me smile. Having (almost) all the most important people celebrating with us was so magical.
But I totally get those who choose to have elopement! I think it’s a wonderful idea and allows you to truly enjoy the day because what is most important as that, in the end, you two are getting married.
And then finally, I wanted to share what you can expect from the following blog posts in the near future. I want to dive in more for few wedding tips, hoping that those would be helpful for new brides. And then I want to talk more about personal branding and give visual branding tips for all the fellow entrepreneurs.
See you soon, now I mean really! See you soon!
